Luring can help teach movements such as sitting, lying down, turning in a circle, or walking to a specific spot.

Steps

1. Hold the treat and move backwards, encouraging the dog to follow your hand.

2. Keep your dog’s nose attached to the hand, slow down as needed, draw a circle; if the dog follows, reward. Make the lure longer and longer before paying.
